1W3ND: On Social Practice and Collaboration, 48 Hours at a Time

An artist residency and publication organized by Broken City Lab at their CIVIC SPACE, 1W3KND stood for One Weekend, Three Thousand Words, No Distractions. The residency was an experiment, a site of production, or simply a retreat, to spur writing that reflects a diversity of approaches towards articulating the concerns, ethics, aims, and ideals of socially-engaged practices, written largely by emerging practitioners and minimally edited.
