As Site  proposed a Zoom-based event where long time collaborators Emily DiCarlo and Jacqui Arntfield met in the alterior space of Google Docs, an exclusively web-based application, to create an “untreated found poem” from a documented IM conversation about the pandemic, originally written during the first weeks of lockdown in March 2020. With their cameras on, ambient room tones blended into a singular sonic space, and communication only occurring through on-page commenting, the festival audience-voyeurs watched the collaborators rapidly and instinctively use cut-and-paste collage techniques to reconfigure the original text into an updated, literary readymade.
