Remembering You
Remembering You was a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring work produced by South Etobicoke community members who have loved and lost people who use drugs. In the midst of the overdose crisis, the project offered a space to grieve, remember and pay homage to loved ones through drawing, painting, writing and other mediums. Presented in partnership with the LAMP Community Health Centre, Remembering You invited audiences to reflect on the subject of drug use from a place of compassionate inquiry, considering the impact of stigma and discrimination on the lives of drug users as well as the socio-political factors that contribute to precarious health and housing conditions.
